| #1: Removing the
cylinders. The front one did not want to come off. I avoided
prying at the base because any gouges there can cause leaks later on.
After a lot of pulling and tapping, I finally strapped the cylinder to my
ceiling hoist. Had to almost lift the whole engine off the cart
before the thing came loose (with a little more gentle tapping around the
base, using a soft deadblow mallet).

BTW, in the background is Lucille, my new baby. 1983 Honda CX650,
just assembled from piles of parts.
The pistons look good. I don't worry about small scratches, have
never seen a used piston that didn't have them.
